When I changed over my snows to my previous year's Michelin summer tires, I noticed a vibration in the steering when driving above 80 km’s per hour. My conclusion was that it may be a tire deformity or a tire balancing requirement. Because Active Green & Ross are Michelin dealers, I felt a defect or deformity in any of the Michelin tires could be dealt with quickly under Michelin's tire warranty program. As it turned out there were no deformities in any of the tires, only the tires required balancing. I found the staff to be courteous and competitive with their pricing. I made an appointment for the following day and was on my way within 30 minutes of arriving at the appointed time and day. I didn’t realize it at the time, but was informed by Sam the service representative that they also do brakes, mufflers, tune ups, shocks, batteries and air conditioning along with many others he mentioned. I can see by reading some of the reviews below, that problems have existed in the past, but it certainly wasn’t experienced by me, in fact I found the establishment very professional and pleasant. I found the waiting room to be comfortable with Wifi and TV. Yes I definitely would go back and refer Whitby's Active Green & Ross to my friends and family.

I can't speak to the negative reviews posted by some of the other users, but I have been here many times for various service such as oil changes, a transmission fluid change, issues with tire balance as well as brake service and every time it's been done properly. I have never had an issue with regular maintenance and on the bigger jobs that I mentioned Sam and his team showed me exactly what was the best way to resolve it and what would be the least expensive. If something did not need replacing they would advise me as such. I could have sworn I needed a brake pad change on my rears but they showed me there was plenty of brake pad there and that they had just dried out causing the "squeaking" that I was worried about. Any other shop could have just lied and said "sure they need to be replaced," but I appreciated the honesty. I have always been treated with respect and while I have been in the waiting room the staff has always been courteous to other customers. Thanks again for the great customer service.

I showed up to my appointment a day early! My bad, got the date wrong. They accommodated me right on the spot. Amazing! Great inspection of my vehicle and they fixed it right up. Would recommend going here.

I have been going to this active green and Ross for 5 yrs. I have always had excellent experiences. Always honest and communicative and professional! Every time I have an issue, I just call and they are very accommodating. They have always done a superior job on all my issues. Very reasonably priced. I would recommend them to anyone! I can't say enough good things about them!

I had very good experience at Green Ross Whitby. Prompt and fast service at affordable price. They did tire rotation, balance, and oil change in one hour. I will definitely recommend to everyone. From now on I will be going there regularly for oil change.

The people who work here have by far exceeded my expectations. They are very professional, courteous & honest. My Girlfriend & I bought Michelin winter tires ( x-ice xi2) from Canadian Tire for both our vehicles, and we both were both disappointed by experiencing traction issues on snow. After almost a two month battle with Canadian Tire refusing to exchange them with another model or brand, Michelin Customer service sent us to Active Green & Ross in Whitby and in only a couple days had our tires replace with a different model and now traction in snow is fantastic. Thank You Cory for taking us on as a customer knowing you had to deal with a giant warranty headache.
