When the chips were down and I really needed someone one to help me out, George and his team at Active Green and Ross were there. I owe my thanks to these guys, not only for the quality work they did on my '07 Volvo V50, but also the customer service they give. If your just looking for great technicians to work on your car backed by stellar customer service, then there's no need to read any further... bring your car here... Otherwise, please read on for my experience. Sixty hour work weeks made car repairs a little difficult, but my car was starting to have problems. With only a Saturday afternoon to get ready for a vacation in Georgian Bay leaving the next day, I decided to call the neighborhood repair shop otherwise, take a chance driving my family in a problematic car. My instinct turned out to be a blessing. George assured me he would get me on the road. Given that Volvo parts are hard to come by on a Saturday afternoon, I was going to have to rent a vehicle...which is also hard to come by in Toronto on a weekend during the summer. It was getting bleak. Hopes of making my reservations on time were slipping away with every rental agency either closing or lacking inventory. I called George and told him I would have to take a chance on my problem car and come back later. George is a man of his word. Within an hour, he pulled some strings, made a few calls then pulled up to the front of my house with his good friend, Angela from Enterprise, in a 4x4 Ram Outdoorsman. Problem solved. Ten minutes later, I was on my way to get stuff done. George (and Angela) made this happen on their time. This is what great service is... People who understand your needs then go above and beyond to put you at ease... and do so in style. To George and the Team at Active Green and Ross at Islington and Birmingham, you got yourselves a loyal new customer...thanks a million.

First time customer. I contemplated bringing my vehicle to the dealership for service, but decided to give Active a try. Have to say, service was good, they had my car in and out, and at a reasonable price. Very pleased, will be a returning customer.

Awesome place. I called up on a busy Saturday, the guys told me to drop off my car anyway said it'd be done by 4 pm. They called me back 3 hours early I went and picked it up, the manager handed me the keys and said we're good! No charge. …

I've never had a service experience like that before, definitely will go back for winter tires, and any other service. Obviously there is a reason Islington Active Green Ross was voted best in Etobicoke.
