My car's battery had died, and after getting it jump started, it was sitting in the driveway idling. My husband and I frantically tried to find someone who could replace the battery, which is located in the wheel well. I spoke with Chris and he helped me locate a replacement and ensured we would get the replacement done right away. I am so pleased with how Chris went above and beyond for us. Thank you so much!

As an authorized dealer for Kumho tires, I selected Active Green & Ross - 825 Fennell - as my garage of choice based on a quote and internet customer feedback alone. From what I read, customers really view Chris and his team as professional, reliable, quick and courteous. After receiving a speedy reply with an email quote for my tires from Chris and Heather, it was an easy decision to book my appointment at 825. Active Green & Ross' price was better than a quote I received at a reputable Toronto location, including a more reasonable fee for installation and an unmatched tire puncture protection guarantee. However, it was on the day of my scheduled appointment that Chris and his team at 825 Fennell really won me over as a customer. It is not in times of comfort that you find the true measure of a person, but in times of adversity. On the day of my scheduled appointment, my tires had not yet arrived by the start of my service time. This was understandable. Chris had extended a courtesy to me in an attempt to do his best to work with his supplier to have my tires delivered with only 3 days notice as we approached a weekend and by Monday afternoon his supplier was late a few hours. However, in the 20 minutes i was there at the garage, i took the time to watch the operation and these are a few of the key things i noticed: Chris was accessible - as the captain of his ship, Chris remained front and center greeting, engaging and dealing with customers. Chris acted swiftly - after realizing my tires had not arrived, Chris called his supplier in effort to gain clarity as to their delivery status. Chris apologized and was open and honest - Chris was forthcoming about the situation and assured me the tires would arrive within the day and that if anything pushed the delivery further that he would keep me posted. Customers are family - in the 20 minutes i stayed in the store, customers came in and greeted Chris and his employees as if they had known each other for a long time. It was easy to see that the relationships Chris has built over the years are a testament to his honesty, sincerity and integrity as a business owner. Follow-up contact - After a smooth installation, i was contacted by Chris and his team to make sure everything had gone well, and if it hadn't, that there was something they could do to make it right. No need to worry, everything had gone superbly. Please note, although i stayed only a short while on the day of my appointment, i came back for another hour and a half the following day for the installation of my tires to see the same good-natured, friendly relationships being nurtured. It is no small feat to be a people person. It takes a great deal of empathy and patience and understanding. Chris and his team exemplify this daily. I hope Chris lives to be 150 years old because i plan to make all my future tire purchases at 825 Fennell AG&R, including my children's tire purchases and their children's tire purchases.
